Clinic for Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology
The Clinic deals with injuries of the skeletal system and the joints along with their complications, the surgical treatment of deformities, degenerative and rheumatic diseases, tumors and other pathological conditions of bone and joint system.
It is organized into three departments with the total capacity of 72 inpatient beds: the Department of Large Joint Arthroplasty, the Department of Acute and Sport Trauma and the Department of Reconstructive and Septic Surgery.
The military insured patients and civilian referrals can seek services with Ward for Orthopedics and Traumatology within its hours of operation (from 07.30 a.m. to 03.00 p.m.), Monday through Friday. Self-pay patients can visit this Ward during its afternoon working hours between 03.30 p.m. and 07.30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
